I think, at least from what I heard, that McPahil is a good man and I wish him well in whatever he does. I think it was the right move to step down,

That's what I would do. I think you need stability and having Hendry in a "I have to do it now or I'm gone mode" just isn't conducive to hiring the right manager. I'd want my people in there.
