OU takes a 10-7 lead on Texas going to half.

If OU wins here, that cheat job in Oregon is going to be huge!

Don't think it matters anymore. Major Jr. is solid, but will have a hard time hold downJevan Snead, and John Brantley for 3 years.

KU about to lose.

At least the schedule is light the rest of the way. Aside from the trip to Columbia(and even that's a rivalry game), there's no game left on the schedule that I'd think "oh they'd better play real well or they're going to lose".

Doesn't matter. We'll find a way to lose, just like Toledo, NU, and today. I'm going to have to rescind my prediction of a victory over you guys, especially after tonight's TTech game. You guys are for real, and daniels will shred us up.

I'm not surprised there weren't any posts about the ND game. 31-10 win, but kind of boring. *

Ball State beats Buffalo 55-25, nice to see them bounce back. It was 38-3 at halftime. Nate Davis goes 11-14 for 297 yards and 3 TD, although he does throw his first pick. BJ Hill runs for 116 and MiQuale Lewis adds 99. Now 2-1 in the MAC, but next up is a road game at CMU who is plastering Toledo.

* - You have no idea how awesome it is that ND can score 31 points and have it be a thoroughly boring game. That never used to happen.

ND will move up two spots it looks like, with LSU's loss and Oregon's impending defeat.

They will be extremely close to Auburn also. Auburn was absolutely dominated by Arkansas, and they are going to drop similarly to how ND did..it will be close between them.

Mizzou wins 38-21! Defense got a little shaky there briefly, but it didn't matter, they forced 5 turnovers. This team is so much fun to watch, I love it. Hopefully now we can start getting a little more respect.

Word. We rocked Harrell's world in the second half. The offense was very steady too, and did a great job of grinding the clock down near the end.

We may also move ahead of Georgia, who is losing to UT. The Vols may leapfrog us though with this "quality" win.

Vols putting a thumping on the Dawgs, 51-33

There goes that 6.8 points per game defense for Georgia.

I admit that I am biased against the Vols, but do you agree that Georgia hasn't looked like a top 10 team all season long?

It pains me to say this, but Tennessee deserves to be the highest ranked 1-loss team right now. I'd actually put them in the top 5, behind OSU, UM, UF, and USC. No way in the world should they be behind WVU or Louisville (and I don't think the Irish or Auburn should be either). UT has a 1-point loss to one of the top three teams in the country, with wins over an underrated Cal team and now Georgia.

Especially considering the close calls they have over the past couple of weeks, it's fair to say they were a shaky top 10.

They deserve consideration for highest position among the one loss teams. However, even though their only loss was a 1 point loss to Florida, they did blow a 10 point lead at home.

Cal with the pick. GO BEARS!!

how amazing was nate tonight? He almost had 4 Td's tonight.

You think Cal has a chance to get back into the top 10 after tonight?

Z-O-U!

The homecoming crowd will be absolutely insane if we beat aTm.

By if, you clearly mean when. That game will be my first of the year... I can't wait!

Both Oregon and OU lose, doesn't matter anymore.

I picked Missouri.

I hope it works out like last week, when you picked Mizzou and Herbstreit went with Colorado.

soccer10k: 2

Herbstreit: 0

ETA: I would also like to point out that in the Yahoo Pick Em League, I picked the final score of the game to be 35-21 (only off by three points). This follows the week in which my predicted score for OSU-Iowa was 38-17. Not to brag or anything. :^o

Here's the 3 big questions about the polls now:

1) How far should Auburn drop? Behind Texas? Behind ND? Behind TN?

2) How far should the 9/10/11 teams drop (LSU/Oregon/Georgia)?

3) Do you revamp the top 5? Here are the candidates (after OSU)-USC, WV, Florida, Michigan, Louisville-how do you rank them, and does a 1 loss Texas team deserve to be ahead of any of them?
