I am happy!!!!!!!! I also am beginning to wonder how good ND really is. The game isnt over yet and MSU has a way of breaking my heart so I am going to hold my breath and cover my eyes some in the 2nd half.

No more pro-media comments please. The national media is taking as much or more pleasure in this debacle as you guys are.

 

I just got back from the BSU game...lost 29-24 to ND State. Never had a good feeling about the game. Had a worse feeling when our coaching staff bungled everything up. Game-winning TD was scored on a jailbreak screen, and 10 of the 11 Cardinals were on the wrong side of him when he caught the ball. Then with 1:25 to work with, Brady Hoke put in our true freshman Nate Davis...who didn't really do anything wrong, since the offensive line is an absolute joke. Then the refs threw a pass interference flag on the 4th down play, and picked it up to win it for the Bison.

 

If Carolina loses tomorrow I might actually cry.

I've doubted it since the offseason. There defense was not good last year and there was no indication it would be any better this year. Plus the fact that all coaches had a year's worth of film on Weis and had a better chance to gameplan against his offense.

 

The personal foul penalty on Trannon was crap. Ryan Harris did far more and the coaches/managers/staff were pushing and grabbing his facemask.

 

I really can't figure out how broadcasters can talk about how mentally tough and smart Quinn is. Against Georgia Tech, Michigan and now MSU he's looked horrible when they get pressure on him.

I think ND has a problem in their defensive scheme. They were exposed by Michigan last week and MSU is following through.

 

However, I really believe Weiss is the best offensive coach in college football. He just doesn't have the talent. Their O line is getting hammered off the snap.

Then again, it's also possible that this is a 2002-ND type fluke.
