when are umpires ever going to start using their brains to determine who is intentionally throwing at a batter and exect that pitcher, instead of using some strange code of chivalry and ad hoc procedure to determine who needs be ejected and who gets to stay.

 

 

this is dumb. he should have been ejected, and neither team has the inside corner to work with.

Bynum is under Cubs control for the foreseeable future because he's a rookie.
