Seriously, I'd rather Dusty never sacrifice than have him sacrfice with Austin Kearns up after two batters reach base.

Or just never sacrifice.

Frank Robinson is no baseball manager mastermind. If anyone could contend for worst manager in baseball with Dusty Baker, Frank is the man.

Flippy Alou, Ned Yost, and Grady Little would have something to say about that.

So stupidly, my dad and I go to all 3 games here in DC, just like we did last year. I know this team has been especially awful this year...Lord knows I've seen enough debacles on TV...but seeing them play this bad live...I don't know, it's spirit-crushing, man. Yesterday and today, my dad and I did something we've never done in the 20 years we've been going to Cubs games together...we left early.

Awful.

2nd time out of 3 series we've been swept by Washington

The highlight of the day was Hawk Harrelson saying that it was "BS" that Jon Garland got warned by the umpire for pulling an Estes and missing to the wrong side of the butt when he attempted to retaliate Padilla hitting Cintron in the Sox game. Amazing. "We didn't even hit anyone and we got warned!" said Hawk.
