(AP) Washington DC. The Chicago Cubs announced Sunday July 23, 2006 that they have have placed the whole organization on the 15 day disabled list retroactive to April 3, 2006.

Whats the new rotation?

 

Zambrano

Maddux

Prior (for now)

Hill

Pray for rain?

Z is going to pitch every game the rest of the year...or until injured.

Anderson walked

Church homered to right field , Anderson scored

Schneider grounded out to the pitcher, 1-3

Armas flied out to right field

Soriano homered to left field

Lopez singled to right center field

Aardsma in to pitch for the CUBS

Zimmerman popped out to second base

Really the only question for the remainder of the season is whether or not Dusty/Larry can blow out Z's arm. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go to a one man rotation and have Z try to throw another 500 innings this year (modified by Maddux throwing every 5th game) Prior going on the DL due to his pregnancy later this week.

Is it possible for the Cubs to make outs any faster?

 

Nats have 5 walks and no cub batter has seen 4 pitches.

 

CUBS have seen 3.88 P/PA thorugh the 5th. Now, you wouldn't be exageratin' there, would ya ?? :wink:
