I miss Nomar alot. I loved that guy in a truly platonic, man on man love kinda way. I also miss C-Patt, even though I was critical of him last year, I now realize what boobs this coaching staff is and how it was mostly their fault.

So:

Nomar

Cpatt

Soon to be Todd Walker

Nomar - he was one of my favorite non-Cubs and I hated to see him tear himself in half during his "prove it" season. I'm glad he's doing well, but I wish he were still here.

I agree with Nomar (of course), Bill Mueller, Jon Lieber (my favorite Cub when I first became a fan), and Matt Stairs.

Also Randall Simon and Kenny Lofton circa 2003

I'm surprised nobody has said Lofton yet.

Nobody, huh?

Nomar

Bill Mueller (don't know if he's technically still active)

Kenny Lofton

Corey

Electon Blue also mentioned Lofton.

Surprised noone made a "I miss Prior and Wood" comment yet.

Truthfully:

Bellhorn

Farnsworth

Hollandsworth and the rest of the Lemons

Steve Trachsel. He won one of the biggest games ever for us. I also really liked the way Grudzielanek played ball. Not flashy but always got the job done.

Nomar, obviously, is at the top of the list. I wish we still had him. I also miss Clement. I felt so sorry for him in 2004 when he could get a win for anything. I also kind of miss Hollandsworth. I'll never forget that catch in Anaheim where he ran face first into the wall.
