We'd better not give up any HRs to him

The guy ought to get beaned every time he comes up to bat.

i'm hoping he gets it tomorrow so we don't have to go down in shame as the team that both gave up the 62nd homer to McGwire as well as the 715th to Bonds.

how is giving up homeruns to guys like mcgwire and bonds shameful? steroids or not, they are the best 2 HR hitters i've ever seen play the game.

It's shameful because 1) they're cheaters who broke US law, and 2) we get to see the endless replays on ESPN.

I hope its Rusch. Cause then I can hate him more.

Rusch could actually get back in my good graces and score some cool points if he puts one in his ear or rib cage every time he faces him.

I hope Z gives up the HR, then gets pissed off at all the celebration, and then hits the next batter on purpose.

Just because it would be entertaining.

There's an important difference between the two. McGwire's 62nd home run set a record. Bonds' 715th is a meaningless, over-hyped home run. It's setting a record that's important, not moving into 2nd place.

Are you Bud Selig?

Don't insult NCCub, LCCF. [-X

Is it me he's insulting, or Bud?

Seriously, Bonds' 715th home run is the equivalent of hitting 61 in a season after Maris' record had been previously broken. I don't remember a big deal about Aaron surpassing whoever held the career record before Ruth held it.

Doug Dascenzo will give up 714.
Dascenzo would actually be an improvement over what Novoa and Ohman have done this year. :D
