The Pirates and the Royals are the only teams that are more than 10 games out of first place in their division already.

If Kerry Wood and Mark Prior were healthyand made 5 starts a piece the cubs could be standing in first place with a 18-5 record.

Pardon my asking but,

How exactly do you win when your team scores 0 runs in 9 innings?

The Furcal/Lee play would have never happened since the rotation would have been set up differently, therefore Lee never gets hurt.

The man speaks the truth.

Looks like we should be okay. The rotation will probably keep it to the south.

There's a Cubs pitching joke in there somewhere.

Lol, that same thought crossed my mind...

Huh? Murt's batting fifth against a righty, Barrett's behind KoJock, Mabry's batting 8th - this is a weird one.

But on the whole it looks OK.

Hopefully Barret takes this as a sign that he needs to step the heck up!

Mabry as well.

We will score 7 runs or more tonight.

bold statement. I hope you're right.

Especially since the last time we scored 7 or more runs was April 23 against St. Louis.

Hill was interviewed on the pregame show. He's scheduled to pitch an inning or two tonight in relief (if needed) and to start on Thursday.

If he pitches tonight, wont he go on 3-day rest?
