I noticed the same thing. Wasn't he the guy who was recently quoted as saying he needs to be more selective? Seriously, it hurts my brain to watch these guys sometimes.

I just don't get it. The Cubs were frustrated by Corey's inability to be a more selective hitter, so naturally they go out and get a more EXPENSIVE, OLDER version of Corey. I just don't get it. I would prefer Burnitz to Jones.

That isn't the point. That statement Jim Hendry = No Offseason Plan is categorically false in everyway. He had bad (Neifi, Rusch) to questionable (Jones) moves in his plan, but his assembly of this bullpen means we wont lose many games we are leading after the 6th inning.

It's given us more than a couple wins this season. Look at the Marlins tonight. Offense, starting pitching, and defense are good to great. One arm loses the game for them. He walked them into a loss.

Listen, he had a plan. It might have not worked completely, and it might not have been the exact same one you or wastra might have wanted...but for some around here it's like pulling teeth to give Hendry ANY credit.
