for the record Barry Bonds is batting .192

with a .487 OBP

I'd like to see him get .400 without all his body armor on the left arm.

The body armor has no effect on IBBs

Who was that one pitcher that got popped in the head by a screaming liner, that caused him to be bloodied up on his head?

Was that Steve Cartlon?

Nolan Ryan

No, that was Robin Ventura stupidly chraging the mound and getting sufficiently pummelled by Nolan.

Good to see they're making Maddux work for his outs.

Why is this good?

What the goat said. And what does "lawl" mean?

lol spelled out as if a word. A way to make fun of the acronym "lol".

This is so vintage Maddux. If he goes all 9, I am digging up an old "Countdown til Maddux Option Vests" thread.

because maddux never made three consecutive good starts last year

Bottom 8th

Bill Mueller grounds out to 2nd, 4-3

Oscar Robles grounds out to 2nd, 4-3

Dioner Navarro called out on strikes

howry and eyer?

why? Greg's pitch count is real low and the bullpen has been used in excess throughout the year.

nice K to end the inning!

Thats who Pat reported was up in the bullpen.

Let Maddux go complete! Pinch hitter, Furcalcoholic, and Lofton are all due up in the 9th.

Furcoholic?

Great line by Scully...

"He might as well bring chalk and a chalkboard out there with the way he's pitching."

Maddux is taking them to school.

Except for "Tad" and "Jack", I've really enjoyed listening to him. I don't know that I've ever heard him before.
