I think dusty is just trying to keep the pressure off murton and cedeno.

Pagan is young also so what's the difference?

if I start to think like dusty, shoot me.

Done.

hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have said that to someone close enough to do it.

The good news is that the Cubs made Duke throw 27 pitches to 4 batters. He'll be hard pressed to get past the fifth at that rate.

Its to break up all the righties. Pagan can switch hit so later in the game it breaks up a all righty order vs the bullpen.

Wow good with only one hit and no walks for the CUbs.

Aramis is the last guy I'm worried about. We'll all be screaming like Ronnie Woo Woo when he hits .571 for two weeks. Does anyone remember when he carried the Cubs for weeks at a time last June?

They sent down Wuertz? What the heck would they do that for?

They needed a bullpen arm and couldn't afford to send down a bat with Jones out.

Seriously, are they going to call up Rohlicek because Ohman blew up the last two games?

Novoa isn't bad, but it's a shortsighted move.

Russ was released.

27 pitches for Duke in the first.

Nice play by Ronny!

I remember thats how many pitches a pitcher would have by the 3rd inning last year, and the year before that.

Wuertz is a bullpen arm. He threw 15 pitches yesterday, after not pitching for the 2 previous games.
