By the way, what was Lee thinking? I've seen little old ladies walk faster than the when Lee was going back to first.

 

Either he was caught up in the moment or he was trying to sneak back in and if he went quicker, he figured Hatteberg would have realized what was going on and tagged Lee.

So is it too early to ask what the major league record is for most errors in a game? I'd have to guess it was back in the 19th century when the fields were in terrible shape.

 

But seriously, the Reds suck.

Well, just look at his career stats...

 

...and you'll see that he's never had power from either side of the plate.

 

If he made a deal with the devil, he most likely would've gotten it for both sides.
