I hate LSU, and not just because I had Texas winning it all. I can't stand the Sean May style of basketball of throwing your fat ass around the paint to establish position because you know they'll never call the offensive foul on you and then hitting a 5 footer.

In addition Davis and Thomas sound as educated as Shelden Williams look.

Davis's 60 consecutive seconds of saying mutha-f***er was pretty classy too.

People only hate them because they are good!

Geaux Tigers!

I think you need to pay more attention to the tremendous leaping ability

You've almost mentioned as much as the commentators did.

Alright the bulls better draft Big Baby.

I'm not as high on Aldridge as I was coming in. He played tentative all game around the bigger LSU players. And you can't do that, not to mention that a lot more people will be bigger than LaMarcus at the NBA level.

Wow. Memphis would be best suited to just start hacking like crazy underneath the basket pretty soon.

UCLA has had quite a few opportunities with a man wide open in the paint but they just can't seem to find him. Just a lot of bad possessions right now.

If UConn or Nova comes out of the other side they should win the title game by 20 points.

There's no way in the world Nova beats LSU by 20, and I doubt UConn would either. In my opinion, LSU has looked like the best team in the tourney this year. Nova won't be able to stop LSU's bigs, and UConn hasn't looked special in this tourney...I think LSU provides an answer to UConn's front court strength and would give UConn all they could handle and more.

Being a color analyst during the tournament has to be about the easiest job in the world.

Nothing to say during TV timeouts.

And UCLA throws it away after wasting their last 2 timeouts to avoid doing so. Wow.

LSU's guards are average to sub-par. Nova and UConn should run circles aroudn them.

Interesting difference in referee style these two games. LSU and Texas were beating the tar out of each other and there were no calls while Memphis and UCLA got called for looking at each other funny.

I agree with the assessment of Aldridge. He looked great on Thursday, but got killed today.

SouthSideRyan may not like Sean May basketball, but as far as NBA prospects go, the Bulls could use 300 lbs of ass in the paint. Works for Shaq, right? You think he doesn't get called for offensive fouls now, in the NBA he can knock the entire other team down and won't get called.

And I still prefer it to college teams (coughillinicough) who jack up 3's all game. Move the 3-point line to international distance and see how that changes things.

so if illinois had glen davis, you're telling me you would want bruce weber to tell davis to change his style of play?

Florida will come out of the other side. That worries me because they handled LSU easily in the SEC tourney.

So far, 2 for 2 in my Final Four predictions.

LSU didn't have darrell mitchell in that game. i think it will be much closer if they meet again.

For those who have lambasted the officiating this year, Dennis Dodd agrees with you.

The NCAA would like to apologize, but won't. The agenda continues. Something bad and disturbing has happened to this tournament.

It lost its soul, its style, its pizzazz. UCLA's 50-45 victory over Memphis in the Oakland Region final confirmed it.

In the 10 games played in the four regions so far, the average number of total fouls per game has been 37.3, or one every 64 seconds. That's up only slightly from the midseason numbers compiled by the NCAA at midseason.

But more telling is the destruction of a long-held tournament assumption. Games are called looser in the tournament in order to let the actual players decide the game.

We should all smell conspiracy. If officials haven't been told by NCAA supervisor of officials Hank Nichols to call games closer this year, then it's a huge coincidence.

Right on the money.
