well seicne they have switched over from brad/memphis he has committed 4 fouls that ive seen. if only they were as eager to call that last foul on him as the first 4

They've let them play pretty rough all game, so if you just switched over, you don't know how the whole game has played. People are falling and flopping all over the place with no calls.

 

Okay, it's over, and my bracket is officially SCREWED as I had Duke in the championship game. GAH!

That was just a giant choke job by Duke. LSU just beat them around, and instead of fighting back (like they did against BC) they freaked out and focused on the refs.

Okay, Shelden Williams had a great game (and a great year) but for some reason I just can't see him as being any good in the NBA. Am I crazy? He just strikes me as one of those "great in college, 8th on the bench in NBA" type guys

well I did pick Duke to lose in the Sweet 16..unfortunately it was to Cuse, not LSU.

 

I'm still ecstatic that Duke lost :D

Boy, Shelden Williams and JJ Redick both dropped themselves a few spots in the draft.

 

Even though Williams had a decent game, they both showed me that they are going to be manhandled in the NBA. Athleticism is severely lacking. I can't see either as a potential NBA star.

Ironically this loss hurts me in the bracket, because I just can't see WV being able to beat Aldridge and Texas, and then being able to beat Davis, Thomas and LSU. Ugh.

JJ Redick ends his collegiate career shooting 3-18. I love it.

 

Bradley played really well. Just a lack of consistency on defense in the second half and the incredible amount of turnovers early in the game really hurt them. It could've gone down the wire. Great season for the Braves.

Nice run by Bradley. I really underestimated Memphis. I had them losing last round because I thought they were too young and hadn't had a challenge in months, but they are showing very well. That said, they STILL haven't really met a big challenge in months. The first three games in the tourney so far have been small and mid-major teams. They'll have Gonzaga or UCLA next. That will be their first major matchup since December.

That was great to watch. Redick is gone from the tournament, him and McRoberts couldn't stop complaining, and LSU just beat them.

 

On another note, LSU's coach looks like Smeagol before he goes into the caves.

Redick will have a Steve Kerr/Paxson/John Starks type career in the league. Think about it. Chris Duhon is in a 9 man rotation. Smush Parker is a starter. There are what, 30 teams in the league? You think a team like Denver couldn't use a 3 point shooter in their 9 man rotation? Cleveland? Redick can shoot. He wore down towards the end of the season, but he'll have a nice, role player career in the league.

 

Williams won't. He'll be a 2nd round pick at best, and he'll be out of the league within 3 years. He's just not that good.
