West Virginia has a tough road and relies too much on the 3. They could easily be bounced on Friday by SIU, then have to likely play Iowa, Texas and Duke.

I think Atlanta is the toughest region and Oakland is the weakest.

It would be one heck of a road to hoe having to beat those three teams AFTER they lost in round one.

In all seriousness, it would be tough. Lucky for them, I have that road being Iowa, Cal and Duke. A little less difficult.

Monmouth beat Hampton easily tonight in the play-in game. Not that it matters but I never seem to correctly guess the winner of those things.

I didn't have anywhere else to put this but I need to ask Raisin if he has a contact in the Panthers' front office...Shaun Williams became the 4th UCLA alum to suit up for Carolina for the 2006 season, joining DeShaun Foster, Ricky Manning, and Mike Seidman.

I have Cal, UCLA, Washington and Arizona as my Final Four.

UCLA over U-Dub in the championship.

I'm assuming sarcasm?

Of course.

Oh my, Mike Seidman has turned up on an NFL roster? Wow.

He's been the Panthers' backup tight end for the past two seasons, I believe.

Beware Syracuse, Flames my friend. They killed me last year when I picked them to win it all. First and hopefully last time that my champ gets knocked out on the first weekend...

4 elite 8 from the Big East, and no Villanova? No West Virginia, who was in the FF last year? No, Syracuse who just romped thru the conf tourney?

There's nobody that's gonna beat Villanova. UConn and Nova in the semis. Nova takes the season series 2-1 with a win, and go on to take the title.

West Virginia hasn't played well as of late. Villanova is too guard oriented, and Allen Ray is not at full strength. Their big man in foul trouble can really hurt their chances if they go up against a team with one or two solid power forwards or centers. Syracuse might have used up too much of their magic to sneak their way through the Big East tourney much like West Virginia did last year. Talent wise, no one can top UConn. Now if they actually show up and play the whole tournament remains to be seen.

Cool. I always thought he'd be an NFL starter, shows how good a scout I'd be.

I'm going to be stuck at work, and I know they have the free video online this year but I can't watch that at work. Do you guys know if the tournament is on the radio? That would be awesome!

They have the easiest draw in the Tournament. I think they get to the Final 4 and lose in the Semis.

I would say Memphis has the easiest draw. Duke has Texas, Iowa, LSU, Syracuse (?), West Virginia, etc.

It should be on one of the CBS radio stations.

Not sure which is more disheartening as an Illinois fan. Not having a single expert take Illinois to the final four, or having just Brent Musberger taking Illinois to the final four.

For me, it's the latter. Musberger tends to be a homer when it comes to Illinois, even though I believe he went to Northwestern. Unfortunately, I don't think Illinois will go to the Final Four. That would require Illinois to play four straight good games against good teams - something I haven't seen them do all year.

I do see only one #1 seed getting to Indianapolis.

I've got Duke, Gonzaga, UConn, and BC in the final four.

OSU, Kansas, West Virginia, and UNC join them in the elite 8.
