I cannot stand how they cut to commercial on seemingly every single clock stoppage. I know they need to earn their advertising dollars, but it is still annoying.

Of everyone who filled out a bracket, I wonder how many if any still are perfect. Even if anyone has it, right now there is not a team that even looks like they are going to win the NC. Picking that team from the round of 32 is going to be difficult.

There are always some people with perfect brackets after the first round. After the Sweet 16 is usually when all the perfectos are off the board.

After the first round:

 

24-8

 

Tied for 2nd in the NSBB Pick Em bracket.

 

4th in the NSBB Facebook pool.

 

Only one Sweet 16 team gone.

 

This is probably my best first round showing in at least three years. (Not saying much)

Well, as poorly as they played in the last few minutes, they made KU look worse for the entire game. I think the Jayhawks were expecting to out-athlete Bradley, and there was a collective pants-crapping when they realized Bradley was perhaps their athletic equal.

 

They're a good team, and I hope they beat Pitt Sunday.

I remember when ND almost went down to UW-Milwaukee in the first round three years ago, I walked around in a daze for about a half hour. I can only imagine how p.o.ed I'd have been if they'd lost, so I feel for you.

man do i feel good for having Bradley over Kansas. The biggest highlight of my bracket so far :lol:

 

i'm hurt pretty bad after the 1st round, my worst showing in 3 years i think. 22-10, but 5 of my Sweet 16 teams are out and 2 of my Elite 8 teams are out as well as 1 of my Final 4 teams.

 

i'm glad for the MVC. They were all handed 4 real good teams (the case for Seton Hall not being in the tournament can be made) and they come away with 2 wins, and nearly a 3rd in UNI. If Wichita St and Bradley can make the Sweet 16, I think the MVC will definitely have proved that they can play with the "big boys."

I'm glad with the way the first round turned out for the MVC. 2-2 with the two losses coming to a very good WVU, who I believe is underrated, and a decent Georgetown (UNI was overrated).

 

Bradley and Wichita State really showed what the MVC is about.
