You can always count on Iowa to lose early.

It's only their 2nd first round loss in about 20 or more years. Anywho, *points to sig*...

2nd round is early.

I like my new sig, but I kinda like yours better.

As first and foremost an Illini fan, Big Ten second, I'm disappointed with Iowa' loss today. They were up by 17 with 8+ minutes left! I also didn't think OSU would struggle as much as they did today but, at least they won. The Wisconsin loss was not that shocking, I picked them but, the wise choice was probably Arizona. Bloody Iowa, way to represent the Big Ten, good job.

MSU better win today. Illinois didn't look that good, nor did Indiana or OSU, and Iowa and Wisconsin have lost. I hate the Hawks with a rabid passion, but I really wanted to see the B10 represented well.

Raftery on Gansey: He gets his hand on balls...

I believe the Spartans will win quite handily tonight, the Illini have a chance to win big tomorrow, UW doesn't play much defense and they're not as strong on the boards as the Illini. I really like the Hoosiers chances vs. tournament darling Gonzaga, Killingsworth' going destroy whatever the Zags throw at him down low.

Batista is a pretty skilled player, I wouldn't sleep on him at all. I agree about the MSU game, GM being without their PG and being a very small team should serve my Spartans well. I think the UW-U of I game is a tossup personally. Home court advantage was the edge that tipped it to UW when I made my picks.

When did Joe Herber decide to embrace his German heritage and become JOHANNES?

And WV's gray uni's are ugly as hell. Why not have yellow home uni's instead?

Mountaineers back on track, lookin good so far :)

Don't be dissing the gray.

SIU is getting bothered by the WVU defense that normally is not very strong, if they are going to win they need to be able to find more easy buckets.

I don't get how San Diego is a homecourt advantage for Washington?

Seattle=1258 miles from SD

Champaign=2032 miles from SD

Who do you think has more grads in the area? Who do you think partisan fans will be pulling for?

Bryan Mullins for SIU is a tenacious defender. He's gotten much better since he was in HS. He's all over the opposing point guard. In HS, he'd give a little space off the ball and his aggressiveness has been amplified since going to SIU. Love that kid's game.

Wouldn't we be shocking them in the sweet sixteen? Unless you consider another victory over UNC as "shocking the world."

Yeah nice math on my part.

I wish Verne Lundquist would stop calling NW State "Northwestern".

In other unrelated news, the final of Nova and Monmouth appears to be on a 50-35 pace. Yeesh..
