Most of the speculation I'd seen had Michigan going to the Outback Bowl instead of Iowa. It is funny to see them in the Alamo Bowl against a bad team like Nebraska.

No they're not. They'll be so busy whining about being "jobbed" (which is crap BTW, I think either ND or OSU would wax Oregon in a bowl game) that they won't pay attention. Same thing happened to Cal last year in the same Holiday Bowl against TTech.

 

Who's replacing the 6th Pac-10 team in a bowl since they only have 5 bowl eligible teams?

Just got back from the game, I only saw 1 colorado fan at the game outside of the band and the parents section next to the game. The entire stadium was orange and the game was over once they announced the teams onto the field.

 

Reggie Bush should win the Heisman, and Vince Young should come back next season :lol:.

 

Texas v USC will be the most anticipated game in a very long time. Vince Young gets all the credit, but they have a ton of weapons people don't talk about that are very similar to USC's all-around offense.

This year will be more anticipated than that. Last year you had another major conference BCS team that was undefeated, so it wasn't quite as decisive. Plus, I think going into the game last year the overwhelming feeling was that USC was the better team, whereas this year most people think that the national championship game will be very competitive.
