Mizzou: 81

Texas: 80

That's right. :D

I would like that vera much.

Texas 80

Mizzou 50

I think this one is much more likely.

Oh cmon, I've got 5 hours to live in delusion before the basketball team puts a cap on this crappy day. Let me dream.

Well, I'll be attending the game tonight. If things go well maybe I can put off homework for the entire game. I am honestly just hoping that Mizzou Arena can get loud a couple of times. When Tucker was a freshman, he played down at the Hearnes Center, and he said that was the craziest atmosphere hes been to for a game. Hopefully we can just reinforce that comment tonight. That being said:

Texas 82

Mizzou 61

Fire Quin!

Why, does Mizzou baseball season start Saturday?

The Oregon kids, 6'9" C Kevin Love and 6'8" F Kyle Singler, the third and sixth-rated HS juniors in the country (according to Scout), are unofficially visiting UCLA on Friday and Saturday. Love has UCLA, North Carolina and Duke as his top 3 choices, Singler has UCLA and Duke as his top choices. They are close friends, so there is a good chance both will end up at the same school.

Singler promised KU a visit. He'd be a nice Downs replacement.

I see. Well, he can't make any official visits till he's a senior next year, but I'm sure he'll also visit Arizona and Oregon to boot.

This will be Love's second unofficial visit to UCLA. A win over Arizona would be helpful on Saturday, I know the Bruin Den will make a good impression on both Love and Singler. :)

I've heard he'll only take 3 visits--UCLA, Duke, KU. UCLA seems to have the lead from what I've read. However, I 've also read there is no guaranteed Love/Singler package deal.

Where are you hearing only 3 visits? Everything I've read seems to indicate UNC is as high as the others.

I don't think Love/Singler are a package, especially given the differences in their top choices. But, Love came back from his previous unofficial to UCLA and really seemed to sell it to Singler, who put UCLA towards the top of his list. I hope UCLA has the lead on Kyle, haven't read anything about him really favoring any of his top choices.

What did I say? 7 losses by 23 points. Two blatant fouls on Quinn's last play go uncalled and ND loses another one. It's like rooting for the Cubs all over again.

Well Mizzou sucks. Not a big surprise there. Down by 18 to Texas. Although I will say that Texas really hasn't impressed me that much. One step closer to bye-bye Quin Snyder. Thank God.

i get sick and couldn't go to the Convo Center tonight to see NIU beat Ball St.

so I stay home and listen to the SIU game online and they lose their first home game since January of 2002, to INDIANA FREAKING STATE. Man am I pissed off right now.

It is 12, SSR.

BSU does lose as Flames mentioned, giving up 6 points in a row after having the game tied. Still no road wins on the Cards' MAC resume, as well as knocking them from contention for a top-2 slot in the pathetic MAC West.

We lost to Baylor tonight... Everybody should be feeling much better about their team after hearing this.. I sure as hell don't!!!

Quin's house is currently on the market...

Mizzou had their shots at Texas and didn't make the open shots. Can't say I was expecting a win, but at least they didn't humiliate themselves. Makes the two road games against fellow bottom feeders Texas Tech and Baylor huge games.

I read it somewhere on phog.net, so it might not be accurate.

We can now only hope that the baseball team doesn't pull a Mizzou and just suck.

Well, my source is mostly Scout.com though the Daily Bruin and LA Times were saying the same thing.

My friend just showed me Love and Singler's MySpace pages. There's some fool from UNC who's writing essays trying to get them to be Tar Heels. On Singler's MySpace page, a Dukies actually started arguing with the Tar Heel guy.
