The whole scenario looks like those faux press conferences they do at the Miss America pageant.

I wonder what Neifi will do for the talent portion of the contest.

He's going to recreate Happy Gilmore's "happy place". He's got the body type and costume already.

I thought that hat was just for celebrations.

Just watched 2 minutes of it on ESPN Motion. Talk about a stinker.

Good to see I didn't miss anything. ESPN is getting worse by the minute!

Two words: Michael Irvin.

The only thing ESPN has going for it is Stephen A. Smith.

And that is because they shipped him to ESPN2...

I hate SAS. The reason ESPN exists is for the Rome-Horn-PTI block from 4:30-6 each weekday.

I was referring to the ESPN umbrella. He's propping up the Deuce.

I know. I was just giving your misguided man love the business.

Some highlights:

-"a little pressure thnks to the white sox winning"

-"dusty is 'the right guy'"

-Finally someone pointed out that Prior's injuries are mostly flukes.

-Gives Lee and Ramirez thier credit for great seasons, and points out how bad our 1-2 hitters were.

All in all, it was 3 minutes I'll never get back.

For ESPN standards, getting those last 2 is pretty impressive.

They also mentioned that they're "the only curse in town".

Like anyone in the Cub organization would EVER say something like that. The networks' obsession with curses really pisses me off sometimes.

Wait, we have a curse? I think FOX mentioned it once during the Cubs playoff run in 2003.

Hahaha I cant wait to see what new idiot athlete or management type ESPN hires. I mean, geez, who can beat John Kruk, Sean Salisbury, and then morons like Steve Phillips. By far the worst, in my opinion, is John Kruk though. I can't stand him.

Scoop Jackson. I don't think they ever put him on tv, but his racist ESPN.com articles make me want to hurt small animals. Oh, and they use Mariotti on Around the Horn. Kruk is annoying, but tolerable compared to those two.

The Cubs mock GM press conference should have a laugh track.

REAL Cubs GM press conferences should have a laugh track.
