The season kicks off Wednesday at 7:30 against the Bobcats. It will be broadcast on CSNC and WLS-AM 890.

Duhon is listed as probable and is expected to play. He supposedly looked good in practice on Monday.

The Braniacs over at ESPN.com say the Bulls could finish last in the division. Many are calling the Central the toughest top to bottom in the league, even tougher than the Southwest! I hope for the best, but it's tough to see the Bulls finishing ahead of Detroit, Indiana or Cleveland, and now that Milwaukee has a healthy TJ Ford, added Andrew Bogut, and traded for Jamal Magloire, 5th place seems optimistic. Not to mention the Heat, Celtics, Nets, Knicks, Wizards....

the east is tough this year.

Very tough. The Bulls could be a better team than last year and miss the playoffs anyway.

Go Bulls and Capt. Kirk!

Teams in the East that are better than the Bulls:

Pacers

Heat

Pistons

Nets

Cavs

Teams worse than the Bulls:

Bucks

Sixers

Celtics

Magic

Wizards (don't like swapping out Hughes for Caron)

Knicks (forever mired in mediocrity with Isaiah)

Raptors

Bobcats

Hawks

Bulls make the playoffs in the six hole again and draw the Nets in the first round.

MVP: Dwyane Wade

ROY: Chris Paul

Defensive POTY: Ron Artest

Comeback POTY: Ron Artest

Coach of the Year: Rick Carlisle (his team is loaded to the nines: O' Neal, Tinsley, Granger, Jasikevicius, Artest, Foster, Jackson)

Go Bulls! Hopefully, we see continued improvement this year and maybe see round 2 of the playoffs.

Hopefully, they become contenders next year after Pax wisely spends the crapload of cash he will have available.

No offense, but I can't see Wade getting the MVP. Only because of the people on his team that will take away some of his numbers. Plus, there is a guy out in C-town that will be posting numbers that threaten triple-double average.

Shall we sticky this thread?

Mike, I agree with you, I can't see anyone other than LeBron getting MVP especially considering how good the Cavs are now.

The conquest of the East begins tomorrow! Too bad I relocated and can only see the Cavaliers on national TV now. Michael Reghi is basketball announcing perfection.

Too bad Nene apparently tore his ACL, scratch him off the Bulls' big man list. Even with all the problems at C, I still see them getting a 6th seed. I love how everyone gives us no respect... again. Good, I like it. Will just have to prove them wrong once again.

I'm praying for WLS's internet streaming of the game to not black out. If I get to listen to Bulls games on the radio it would be the highlight of my year.

No blackout on WLS. :D I'm even more psyched now I'll be able to listen to the games I can't get on WGN-TV.

BIMI, your guess is as good as mine as to Pargo not dressing...

Starting for the Bulls tonight:

Duhon

Hinrich

Chapu

Songaila

Chandler

For the Bobcats:

Brevin Knight

Kareem Rush

Gerald Wallace

Emeka Okafor

Primoz Brezec

wow i was just watchign the PBP on Yahoo Sports and this game got ugly quick :(

The defense has been terrible and the Bulls are turning the ball over too much and fouling too much.
