Raisin wants it to be known to all that he called Pujols' HR as he was walking up to the plate (he's omniscient apparently).

I hate the Cards so much.

I still hope the Astros win the series.

Agreed

If you lived where I do, I doubt you would feel that way.

And if you lived where I do, you probably would feel my way. Lots of Cardinal dislike here.

I used to live less than an hour from where you are, and in Chicago, and was raised on hating the Cards.

Astros fans are worse, and the few there are live around here. generally, they are the most ignorant, obnoxious, fairweather fans I have ever met.

You've been to Busch?

I know you used to live around here...but in the last few years, in my opinion, there has been much more tolerance of the Astros and much more hatred for the Cards. I hate them. I can tolerate the Astros.

Funny, all I could think of as Pujols stepped to the plate was that Nike commercial in which he wears the monster mask and stomps around like a madman. It's fitting given the carnage in Houston.

Wow. I'm speechless. It sure is quiet in Minute Maid park right now. I feel bad for the Astros. Edited by E.J.

I saw a lot of "Bartman night" in the eyes of those fans. They are a tortured people.

A couple dozen times. I am not even joking about Astros fans. I just cannot handle ignorant gloating by fans who don't even acknowldge their team until they are in the playoffs.

There are exceptions to every rule, but after hating the Cards my whole life, my vitriol has shifted.

I still hate the Cards, but at least I can respect most of their fans for their loyalty and support of their team.

My thoughts exactly.

Sounds crazy, but I think I'd pulled a Bobby Cox a la playoffs in 1985 and maybe intentionally walked Pujols to keep that from happening.

I'm shocked they pitched to him. I wouldn't let their best player beat me if I had a chance to clinch. I would have taken my chance with the next batter.

Albert's such an arogant jerk. He walked to first.

I cried when I saw Andy go "Oh my gosh."

You just knew what was going to happen when Edmonds walked.

Oh yeah, I knew it. I knew it was coming. Either a gapper to bring in 2 runs to tie the game, or a homerun.
