Ok, maybe not lolly-gagged if attempted by you and me, but to me... if he is SOOOO GOOD... AJones should have made that catch. Corey would have.

Also where double go to turn into inside the parkers.

he's in. This is utterly sad. And our lineup looks like its even more of a breeze without ARam. This sucks.

With the patheticness of the cubs bullpen this year. It's surprising Hendry hasn't caught more flack for his trading away Farnsworth for .50 cents on the dollar. He would have been a huge asset this year.

 

i'm very upset that farns was traded. i think a lot of fans buy into the 'he was bad for team chemistry' line and are glad that he's gone....as evidenced by the boos he got when he came in.

 

oh good, the continuing effort to have wood's arm fall off will continue.

 

Dusty took care of Prior's arm earlier in the game. If only this game could go to extras so Dusty could take care of Z's arm too.

Wuertz and Wellemeyer still haven't pitched since Monday, August 15th, 2005.

 

and yet our $12 million starting pitcher with a shoulder that needs 'cleaning up' gets in two out of every three games with the team in 7th place in the wild card standings.

i'm telling you, he's trying to create arm injuries for next year so that he has a built in excuse to underperform again.

Woody gets the Braves out 1-2-3, which is great!, but its such a wasted effort from a guy who needs to get his shoulder surgically repaired (the sooner the better!) and is probly doing further damage to it for a meaningless 3 outs in a now-meaningless season.

He has a plan dude, Bonds just doesn't show up for his team anymore.

this team needs a new pen. Guys like Wuertz and Welly do not belong on a ML ballclub that says they are contending for the postseason.

 

but i agree that we should see them now since we are all but officially eliminated.

Time to cut our losses with Corey. He needs to go as well. I'm actually sick and tired of having worthless players on our roster. Of course we can thank Hendry for that as well. It will be interesting to see what the Cubs do this offseason.

No doubt. This organization was so close to being a WS contender, what the heck happened? How did things go so wrong so fast? I'll tell you one reason is because Dusty couldn't control the clubhouse last year. 2004 was a circus act. Who knows maybe 2003 was an anomaly but if we are serious about getting to the World Series a lot of changes and acquisitions need to be made. Baker def has to go, and so does Corey among others. Hendry is at fault too.

 

I'm telling you guys you better watch your mouths about Corey or the fan club will call you names and tell you how it's all Macias' fault (the utility man) and not the five tool starting center fielder.

 

Corey is a lamer, but hes a small reason why this year blows. Baker, Hendry, 12 pitchers, Corey, Macias, Neifi, Nomar, are all reasons why this year is terrible.
