How's that for lolly-gagging a catch, eh circlechange??

Jerkov deserves it.

He could have camped under that but "ole"d it instead.

And what the hell was Cox doing pitching to Lee anyways. Not so smart after all.

What happened?

Lee hit it really good, looked to be going out, but wind held it up... hit at the back of the warning track. Instead of camping under it, Jones lolly-gagged and didn't get back on it fast enough, thus having to ole it and the sun messed up his catch attempt.

Cox actually came in the game and pitched?

How insulting.

I absolutely LOVE IT.

He would rather look good than play the game right.

You know what I meant. [-X

And of course he knew the next 3 guys up were Gremlin-Beernutz-Perez. So no harm done of course.

Time to get Prior out... he's losing it.

So not only does Prior lose the chance to win the game, he overtaxes himself - with Dusty's help - yet AGAIN!

:(

Yeah DUsty made Mark go to second on the bunt. If the idiot would have just got the out at first he gets out of that inning no harm done.

Well once again the Cubs find yet ANOTHER way to lose a game. Why cant they just have one year where everything goes there way (a full season, not where everything does up until the last two playoff games).

is there a reason Prior is still in a meaningless game after 125 pitches?

if he's injured to start next season, there is a built in excuse for mediocrity??

Fot those of us online, how do to runs score on an infield hit?

And has the ball left the infield this inning?

The ball deflected off of Lee's glove/arm and hop-dribbled to short right. By the time Walker got there to pick it up and throw it, the second runner was on his way home and beat Walker's throw.

Good baserunning by the Braves.

take the outs they give you, this is why the Braves and Cardinals and Astros always have and always will be better than us. Good teams get the runner (Lee) in last inning. They also get Langerhaus out at first when he gives himself up. Edited by illiniguy
