I am seriously considering not watching a game in 2006 until Dusty is fired. This is horsecrap.

I vowed last year not to spend another dollar on the Cubs that could in any way get back to the Cubs until Dusty was fired. I broke it when I ordered the Extra Innings package (all teams sharei n that revenue), but I turned down 3 trips to chicago to watch them, and have refused to buy a new Cubs hat all year despite the fact that my dog ate my old one.

I am boycotting the Cubs until Baker is gone. No attending games (it's easier when you don't live in chicago, but I normally went to 3-5 games per year before) for me.

Corey couldn't hit sand if he fell off of a camel in the desert.

Watch those anti-Crey posts: you might get called mean by one of the Corey drones.

haha.. Oh well, come attack me Corey-fans. Your guy sucks.

How's that for lolly-gagging a catch, eh circlechange??

Jerkov deserves it.

He could have camped under that but "ole"d it instead.

And what the hell was Cox doing pitching to Lee anyways. Not so smart after all.

I'm not watching the game nor following the thread in real time, so I can't comment on what happened, nor do I know what "ole'd it" means to indicate.

If he didn't hustle to get to a ball, then you and Garwilly have a point about how he plays the game. Nevertheless, just because he doesn't play the outfield like "you're supposed to" doesn't mean that he is showing off and "trying to look good" all the time instead of caring about the game. I mean, he's not Diving Jim Edmonds. He's not even Rickey Henderson, how he used to slap his glove down after routine catches. If the guy's caught a million balls the way he does it, that doesn't mean he doesn't respect the game. Like I said before, I'd trade for him straight up with anyone on the Cubs. I know I'm putting words in your mouth(s) here, but if you wouldn't take him over any of our outfielders, that's crazy.

Did I say Glendon was any better? Glendon is sucking too.

Well clearly he would be our top outfielder. I am in no way taking away from his offensive or defensive abilities. I could only dream of him being in our lineup everyday.

You are correct, you didnot back Rusch.

You statement when coupled with your name was funny though, imo.

speaking of Rusch, why, oh why aren't they skipping his start with the off day tomorrow? Why don't the Cubs EVER skip bad pitchers with days off?

Fair enough, I guess we just differ in our opinion of how he plays. C'est la vie!

Time to cut our losses with Corey. He needs to go as well. I'm actually sick and tired of having worthless players on our roster. Of course we can thank Hendry for that as well. It will be interesting to see what the Cubs do this offseason.

132 pitches in not even freakin 7 IP? Please please fire Larry Rothschild

For those keeping track at home, that equates to a 178.2 pitch complete game.

Because Dusty wants this season to be Glen-DONE sooner than later.

Oh look, another brilliant platoon pinch-hit by Dusty. It's like magic. righties his .860 against lefties and vice versa. Right?

Worthless managers as well.

They skipped Williams last Friday in Colorado, Prior started.

Because the off day is probably Dusty's excuse to let Prior throw 130+ pitches.

(On that note I am all in favor of spot starting ANYONE/ANYWHERE for the rest of the season to limit innings on Prior and Zambrano).

I've been watching the Little League WS. I think the Cubs should hire Japan's coaching staff. Incredibly sound fundamentals!!!!

It' was so nice being out of the country and being able to resist the urge to put myself through this torture.

At this point shut ARam down for the year and skip Prior's next start.

Baker's not going to be fired but Rothschild will not be back.

Because he decides to let Prior throw 128 P in 7 innings on regular rest; imagine how fast our arms would go down if we started skipping guys?
