Tough 6-1 loss for the Diamond Jaxx this afternoon.

They had to make the game during the day due to the Miami at Jacksonville game tonight. Ron said the management for the Suns was nice enough to spring tickets for some of the Jaxx personnel. Hopefully they'll have fun.

I might try to get behind the scouts tonight so I can see the gun. I can let you guys know if you're curious as to what he's hitting on the gun.

It would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy the game.

Ditto! :D

DJAXX just put up a Brian Dopirak Q&A thread. You've got through Tuesday to ask questions, so get on it!

Thanks for helping with the announcement, Jon, it's been a busy day.

I'm glad that Dopirak is already getting questions! Thanks for getting the questions rolling!

Judging by the lack of baseball and the music playing on the online link I guess it's safe to say they're in a rain delay in Peoria.

Iowa with a bullpen collapse in Omaha and can't recover, losing 7-5.

Good nights from Brownlie, Cedeno, Soto and Kelton.

That is a nice shirt. I'm checking the store and just found a link (clearance) where a person can but game worn jerseys. Some of the available jerseys include McGehee and Shipman.

ok, their store is cool.

They have all kinds of team sets, including AAA and A Minor League team sets from 1983!

Just got back from Omaha, Brownlie pitched a pretty decent game overall. From what I could tell on the radar guns(I couldn't get a really good view) he was hitting 91 - 92 on his fastball. I wasn't able to see a whole lot though. Kelton was picked as a player who if he strikes out the crowd wins a prize, and I was so glad to see him have a decent night at the plate. The game was pretty well lost by Valdes. He had a lot of problems with his location, and they gave up six in the bottom of the eighth to take the loss. Hairston played tonight as well, and had a hbp, and if I remember right that was the only time he reached base. So anyway tomorrow, I'm going to go see Mitre pitch which will be my third time seeing him.

I'll be posting the Boise box score either late tonight or tomorrow. They're getting killed 7-0 right now, so I don't think we'll be missing much.

Hopefully it'll be a good night out on the town. :D

Fallingpieces, thanks for that report. :D 91 - 92 is not bad, maybe his arm is finally starting to gain strength. How was his outlaw curve working?
