8/11 StL Cardinals (Mulder) @ Cubs (Maddux) 1:20 CSN

I know the Cards are going to win this game in route to sweeping the series but, as anyone looked at their lineup? Pujols, Edmonds and Nunez? Mabry? Taguchi? Diaz?

 

Sadly, that's the best lineup I've seen in days. If you take a look at the bench LaRussa has to work with, it's the best he can do (save maybe Rodriguez, but I don't think he'd do well against Maddux).

Off topic, but it is now raining here in State College as hard as it is in Chicago, and I lost my Sattelite signal. Happens every time it rains hard. Can't they figure this out yet? Are clouds really that "signal proof" that I have to lose my TV signal for 20 minutes every time there is a downpour?

 

On the other hand, maybe God is giving me a sign that I shouldn't waste 3 hours of my life on another Cubs loss.

 

I have DirecTV and only loose my signal in absolute end-of-the-world downpours.

 

What service do you have? Do you have trees in the way?

 

Your dish might need to be re-aimed. If off slightly your signal could be weak. If you have the smaller single or dual LNB DirecTV dish you might want to think about getting the larger triple LNB oval shaped dish. That way you'll be ready for HDTV too.

Sorry, this "managerial handbook" Dusty left me said those guys were too young and needed to sit on the bench to learn the game...

 

They'll be in later in double switches though, probably take Ronny and Matt out, they're too young to stay in a whole game.
