I think it's safe to say that Dusty's one strong point as a manager- motivation- is no longe a strong point.

Sure am glad we've got him under cotnract for next year. :?

That being said then why have Dusty around? He's worthless. I'm sick of this coaching staff. The only one worth a damn is Speier, and I could care less if he gets canned too. I'm not going to blame Dusty for Hill's performance. As fans, this is what we wanted to see. This team has fallen apart.

I gonna still believe that they will pull this game out of the fire and end the streak.

They have nothing to lose now. It's all about pride. We'll see what kind of men this team is made of when they can only play for pride. Everything else might be out of reach.

Hill had a bad game. As a team you move on. Get the Offense going and see what happens.

Nope. I'll be pleasantly surprised if I am proven wrong, but with this team, for the past three seasons, it's been "the team to score 4 runs first wins."

I seriously doubt they overcome this deficit.

"Seems like... OLD TIMES..."

If I was a manager I know for certain I would breaking things right now. Our play lately is inexcusable.

What me even more upset is that Hendry/Baker and the Cubs are trying to pull the wool over Cubs fans eyes by saying the Cubs "haven't quit." ](*,) You can see it with your eyes, I can see it with my eyes, and any Cub fan can see it, the Cubs have quit. I don't care how they tried to spin, the Cubs have quit. And that makes me  :x

We haven't scored 7 runs in a game since July 24th, and it took a grand slam in the 10th to get there.

Stick a fork in this team.

Can we fire the whole Cubs coaching staff and bring up the entire DJAXX coaching staff?

Let's bring up the entire DJaxx team and see what they can do.

They should be rewarded with an opportunity to finish the job and win a SL championship, not be punished for the sins of the parent club.

Game isn't over yet.

It always is darker before the light!!

Scott, I like you, but if you keep talking like this, I'm gonna puke and then I'm gonna clobber you. :-)

Scott, I gotta say that you've drinken a little too much Cubbie kool-aid. This team doesn't have any pride right now. They're down by 6 runs. They haven't scored 6 runs in I don't know how long. It's over.

With this performance, any Hill plus extras for Dunn trade this offseason can be kissed goodbye.

Once agin, another player has successfully devalued himself in a Cub uniform.

yep. he's done...i can tell all i need to know about a guy after four starts.

this whole season is the fault of hill and patterson.

Who talked about CPatt there? Does anyone actually read anymore?

Anyway, I'm not saying Hill is a failure or to blame for the season. What I'm pointing out is that a lot of people thought Hill was a sticking point in a trade for Dunn or any Reds outfielder. Since this poor performance is against Reds, chances are they will no longer want him as much in a trade. In other words, this performance decreases his value to the Reds if there ever was a trade to discuss with the Reds.

I am sorry for being optimistic earlier, clearly the players have mailed this season in, which should be grounds for them losing they're paychecks. Am I out of bounds for now thinking we might finish in last place?

This is flat-out embarassing... this team has no pride.

We'll be behind the Reds in the standings by the end of the week.

This would be a great way to turn the season around by coming back from a 7-1 defecit and propelling us into a 20-5 tear.

*gets carted off to the loony bin*

Last place in the division is a possibility. Never count this team out to dissapoint you. Never.
