So, what do you guys want to see going into next year? :wall:

Personally, I like the fact that we have Williamson in our pen. He is good. So we shoud resign Dempster as well. There's our two best RP. If we can get Giles for a 3 year deal that would be huge for us. I could care less if we resign Nomar or not at this point. I rather see Cedeno. Stick Murton or another OF not named Macias, or Holla at the other corner spot. Let's hope Corey can come back and bat at least 275.

I wonder if Nomar would sign with us if he was signed to play 2b??

I think Cedeno deserves a chance to prove himself. I also think Murton does as well. Only way that happens though is if Dusty isn't with the team next year.

Maddux is having good outing, and it's being completely wasted.

Cubs OPS last 7 days - .671 - 2nd worst in the league. This offense is terrible right now.

Jesus, they are sucking big time. 2 games below .500 after today.

The Reds have a chance of beating the Cubs. They MAY get to 5th place by the seasons over.

A fifth place finish with a 100 million dollar payroll would surely sink Dusty's ship.

You did mean if they lose today, right?

The Cubs are losing today.

Technically the Cubs are still not totally out of the wild card, but what makes anyone in their right mind, believe they can turn it around instantly?

They've been playing like total crap for the past 2 weeks.

The good news we have the *cough* strength of today's lineup coming up.

lol.

Burnitz has been TERRIBLE. I pray he isn't brought back next season, his defense is good, his offense is bad.

You'd think batting between two of the "best" hitters in the NL, he'd have a better numbers.

God I'm frustrated.
