looks like he has pretty good command of his curve today, and that's always the key for him. hill swung late at a 89-90ish fb because it looked like he was waiting for it to drop to his ankles.

Maybe just semantics but I noiced that Hendry said Murton would be a good every day player but when he spoke about Cedeno he specifically said he would be a great everyday player "for us." Interesting.

I don't agree with it, but I thought that was a foregone conclusion.

I'm not sure to what extent it had already been confirmed. Gammons and Sullivan aren't enough for me to fully believe it.

 

But again, I'm in denial and shall remain in denial.

We'll have to wait 23.5 hours to see, but I think Jimmy is being his usual WAY LOW-KEY self about possible trades at deadlines.

 

I'd hate to play poker with that guy, cause I got a feeling we're gonna learn of a big/good trade in the Cubs' favor in the next 23 hours. Nobody specific and no sources, but I just got a "gut feel" about it is all.
