Wow. Macias with a single.

Crap, now that earns him more playing time...ugh

Ummm...Silly wabbit...Performance doesn't earn you playing time...age earns you playing time.

my dad and brother are yankees and cardinal fans, unrespectably, and were watching a game this year where the announcers made comment that Luis Sojo was helping teach Robinson Cano how to adapt to big league life. They went on to say that Sojo still led the Puerto Rican league in hitting this offseason. My dad calls me and says, "God I hope Dusty Baker didn't hear that or the Cubs have found their new starting 2B." I would have laughed if it wasn't true.

God Macias sure sucks, what with the way he crossed the plate. I wish I had talked incessantly about how much he sucks....

Anyone else think Aramis might be able to challenge for the MVP at the end of this season? If his hot streak continues, he'll be right in it. He's already in it in HR and RBI's. His average is up to .312. While it may not be .350, he can still get it up a little higher.

nah then they will split the cubs vote and pujols will get it.

if some others cool off on their hitting, and aramis and lee continue... wouldn't it be cool if lee got the triple crown, and aramis got second in all categories? hmmmm... what would that be called?

It's pretty obvious that Holla has no confidence up there against Tomko, but yet he's still playing. Way to go Dusty.
