Well, that was a tough game. Hopefully we can manage to get the last game of the series. Here are your starters.

What happened to Hairston last night?

I think he rolled his ankle.

Has anybody told Baker that Hairston on crutches would be a better option than Jose Freakin' Macias?

I wonder if Baker even knows Gerut is a centerfielder.

This team should be 6-0 at home since the all-star break. No excuse for performances like last night's. No excuse at all.

It's maddening.

Gerut is coming back from an offseason knee surgery and is still wearing a huge brace. Would it really be a good idea to send him out on a wet field and play center. Thats my guess as why we didnt see him last night in the field.

I'm having a harder and harder time understanding why we traded for him in the first place.

So if Hairston rolled his ankle yesterday and can't play today, can we expect Burnitz in CF again? An outfield of Murton in LF, Burnitz in CF, and Gerut in RF wouldn't be all that bad today. Probably the best offensive outfield we could put together. That's if Dusty actually plays Murton though. Seriously, how can Dusty not play him after the way he's played and the way Holla has sucked? I know he's Dusty, but come on.

Noteworthy Match-ups (San Francisco Giants) Vs. Carlos Zambrano (RHP, 7-4 with 3.42 ERA)

Noteworthy Match-ups (Chiago Cubs) Vs. Brett Tomko (RHP, 7-10 with 5.03 ERA)

Prediction Based on Match-ups: Well, since Tomko is having a terrible season with a record of 7-10, I will say, Win.

PBOM Record: 4-3

I didn't think about it last night/this morning during the game, but wouldn't have "good baseball sense" told Dusty to have moved Burnitz over to CF and inserted Hollandsworth in RF?

Oh wait, I forgot that "good baseball sense" and Dusty in the same sentence is what is known as an OXY MORON.

Macias leading off? Murton back on the bench despite being on fire? Dusty needs to go immediately. That's a complete joke.

OK, Macias is enough.. but after Murton had a 4 for 5 night, benching him is not a good option DUSTY!
