Taylor has as many hits(2) in 7 AB with the cubs than Happ has in his last 32 AB 😅

Come on Ian, we needs you hitting already

Yeah, anyone expecting him to jump in and immediately fire 7 scoreless were going to be really disappointed.

1 scoreless would of been a nice start 🤷😅

😅,  like i said at the end of May, unlike Suzuki,  hes not earning an extension for himself.

I meant "Holmes now officially a Cub for giving up a home run"

You thought he was going to step off the 60 day IL and dominate?

Not dominate - compete

Hasn't been great, but I'm not judging him or the trade based on one start

Oh of course not - I’m glad they acquired him. Just expected a little more competitive outing is all.
It happens - look at Hunter Brown and some others. Coming off injury nobody can expect them to dominate out of the gate. Just thought for a little better start.

Be a little easier to deal with if the bats could show a little life here and put a couple runs up.

If he goes 5 and just gives up the 4, maybe Rea or Assad can hold them scoreless the rest of way.  Need something out of the bats though, maybe Happ will surprise us tonight
