I wouldn’t say zero chance. I am more in line with Bertz comment “very little chance”, but there is a chance.

Under what circumstances though? It’s a 1 year team option for  a flawed but productive enough arm, the war/$ is what the front office values. I’d be stunned.

How do you do this on this version of the board? I can't figure it out.

If you click your username in the top right corner, "Ignored users" is one of the options in the drop-down menu. It took me a hot minute to figure it out too.

I think it is more complicated than that. I thought after this year the Cubs could exercise an option to go 3 year more and he would total out at $8OM for 5 years. If they didn’t do that he could then exercise an option at $15M. Honestly I don’t know all the particulars. I do know there is a little funk in his contract. Which is why I said it isn’t 100 certain he is back. I do believe he will be. Just not a zero chance.

I guess he does have a $15 million player option. I stand corrected. 3 years $57 million for a MOR starter is the sweet spot for the front office and Taillon is off the books after 2026 too. But yes, It’s a non zero% chance.
