Whenever Miguel Esparza has sung the stretch, he’s come out speaking Spanish and then hits you with that singing voice. Just let him sing the stretch every night lol.

I don’t need to look up anything.  It’s a message board and you posted he was tired.  I said it’s one guess as to what’s going on.  You the. Decided to reply to me about hysteria and character assassination.  I’ll involve myself anytime I’d like as it is a message board where people discuss our favorite team.  No where did I get hysterical or assassinate your delicate character.

Or don't

Go look at the post I first replied to, before you involved yourself

Either reply to the core t person or simply apologize for being an horsefeathers, I don’t care either way.

It’s irrelevant.  You replied to me about horsefeathers that I did not say.  You’re simply an horsefeathers who cannot admit when he is wrong.

Well according to you, it happened because he was a lazy piece of horsefeathers I guess

I don’t think its that out of line to assume someone isn’t giving their all when they don’t consistently perform at the level they have shown that can. Chill out.

It's pretty absurd, actually. Sometimes guys don't play well. Doesn't mean they're not trying. Especially pitchers.

The Cubs are 1-6 in their last 7 games if they don’t come back and I was at the only win. The only other Cubs game I went to this year was the only win in a 1-4 stretch. I think someone needs to give me playoff tickets

Was hoping to give Carson the weekend off bookended with Monday off to recharge him for the playoffs but we can't win right now.

Cade has a 1.03 ERA since the ASB.  Could have been set to start Game 1.  Could be pushed back now unless the issue goes away quickly.

Shota still struggling with the HR off the fastball.  Gotta imagine guys are sitting on it.  Maybe even tipping?

It’s Dansby’s ball. It is always Dansby’s ball. Shaw should have gotten the hell out of the way. Doesn’t matter if you like it or not, that is how the Cubs have done it for years. A rookie isn’t going to change their mind.

Agree.  It's always the SS if he's behind the 3b with the better angle.

What about McNeil?

I’m sorry guys, I don’t want to punch this person in the face like at all. But Pete Crow-Armstrong has to be a contender for all the other fanbases.

Shota ERA 6.23 in his last 5 starts. Really rounding into form for the playoffs.

Hobbled Horton and Taillon for G1 and G2?

Gotta think it's Horton and Taillon for the first 2 games if Horton is anywhere near healthy.

If it goes to game 3 I'd go all hands on deck.  Could be Rea and Assad each once through the order.  Then maybe Soroka and/or Civale and hand it over to the pen.  Could also use an opener.

Padres are predominantly RHB so they'll consider who matches up.

You are not following what they said at all. the character assassination comment wasn't about you, it was about the guy who oddly assumed shota has poor work ethic

Seiya getting going again would be huge.

If he and Tucker can swing well the Cubs offense can come alive again.  Swap Happ for PCA in the hot department.  Having Ballesteros off the bench is huge too.

Hopefully Seiya stays aggressive.  Could be a fun weekend vs the Cards if guys keep swinging and the intensity stays high.
