Nice to see that the Bears didn't miss much as horsefeathers bag Jalen Carter gets ejected 6 seconds into the game for spitting on Dak. Also, both of these defenses suck.

Not sure how Eberflus even got a job after last year's horsefeathers show. But, Mel Tucker got a job right away again back in the day, too. It's the good ole boy network. To be fair, Dallas got pressure, but Hurts danced his way around all of them. Probably wouldn't have gotten away with that much if they still had Parsons. Goedert isn't going to survive the season taking the hits he took last night after every catch.

Curious to see how long Carter gets suspended for. Thought for sure the Eagles would end up losing after losing two players on the first play of the game.

As per usual, the #1 skill requirement for being a professional coach is having already been a professional coach before, no matter you terrible you were at it before.

To be fair Flus is a very good DC

Cowboys should have won last night, The fumble inside the 10 yard line of Philly and the 47 drops by Lamb did them in.

I think evidence points to him being above average more so than very good.

Inthink it’s perfectly reasonable for him to have this job.

watching dallas sit in zone and get 0 pressure on Hurts ... i think you can squint and say "oh if lamb makes this catch and sanders doesnt fumble in the red zone (which i believe was his own personal protest of the RedZone channel commercials. #IStandWithSanders) Dallas wins. But realistically considering we couldn't even horsefeathers touch hurts, if we scored 50 points the eagles would have scored 51. Hurts could get 6 yards any time he wanted to

Early hot takes

1. Tua needs to retire

2. Fields looks more under control, but I still see some of the negative things I saw as a Chicago QB

3. Bryce Young is probably not going to get another starting gig after his first contract

I never would have guessed it two years ago, but I think there's a good chance McDaniel is gone after this year.

Don't go out on a limb there. 😆

It's been 7 years since Carolina was even competitive let alone good*. Don't even know why I use time on this.

* not including their incredible ability to start winning games as soon as the only effect is making their draft pick worse

Whatever mojo Bryce found in the 2nd half of last year is gone. This is the Bryce from the first two years.
