Is there been an update on Amaya and how long he might be out?

Pregame they said "maybe back by the end of the year"

It's a sprained ankle, unless it's a high ankle sprain that needs surgery he should only be out 2 weeks

I thought that Assad was rolling with 10 pitches in the first but scrabble only threw 7. Let's see how fast this game will pass

Oh, makes sense.  Well if Swanson and Happ were belting 40 bombs a year as what Caissie could probably do in the future if he pans out, I don't think people would complain about those 2 as much

Caissie will whiff a ton, and have HR and doubles.   Swing doesn't seem as geared for HR as a Schwarber, and not nearly as pull-heavy.

I love Caissie's swing beyond the whiffs, he's not a Morel or Canario falling in love with the HR and pulling off everything.

I'm interested to see his defense.

20 innings into the series and the Pirates and Cubs have combined for 9 total runs.  Just another normal series at 2024-2025 Wrigley Field.

2 runs taken away by the relentless Wrigley wind

Dansby's out had a 104.0 mph exit velocity and .850 xBA

I don’t think the lineup is the end all be all but at some point Counsel has to go back to Happ at leadoff since that at least seemed to work for everyone else? Busch has just turned into a shell of himself

It’s not just him. The top of our order overall is slumping bigly.

I mean that wasn’t remotely close.  I don’t understand how an MLB ump can’t get that correct.
