Cubs twitter is starting to turn on Kyle Tucker hard lol

He been getting on base with the walks but hasn't been productive like you need him getting those big hits the last couple weeks, plus just 2 XBH 1 Dbl 1 HR all month of July.

No doubt he's been pretty off lately and its super frustrating but fans are saying Tucker is actually terrible

I've heard chatter about the Cubs looking at 2 starters, like a big fish and then someone like Houser.  I think Cade's recent performance puts all that talk to rest.  Just get 1 big fish like Ryan and this rotation is really damn good when Taillon gets back

Don't teams usually shutdown or limit their young starters pennant chase or not in September

Hopefully that's Happ about to break out.

This is the first time I've had to listen to Alex Cohen and woof. It's like if you typed "give me a mid 30s Cubs homer who's trying to be cool " into ChatGPT.

Do you try to get a 7th out of Horton knowing that a dreaded bullpen game awaits tomorrow?

No, go with your top 3 pen guys to hold them.

His numbers aren't too different than Bellinger but with less defensive versatility

It's been known to happen.  Don't know if every young pitcher is shut down.  If the Cubs are planning to shut him down eventually, perhaps its a good idea to stretch him out a day like today when he's thrown 6 shutout innings.

Do you attempt to steal and risk leading off with Shaw next inning?

Good point, don't want Shaw coming up with no one on base
