How is a "catcher's interference" calculated into OBP? Is it the same as a walk?

Apparently it doesn't count as a plate appearance, so no effect.

Nope! You can be awarded a hit on a catchers interference as the hitter gets the choice of either 1b or the result of the PA. If the batter instead choices 1b, it does not count as a PA or impact OBP.

Gonna have to hope 3 runs holds up just in case.

Edit: and very next pitch Happ almost homers

Happs double is a HR in 27/30 parks.  Makes up a bit for Seiya's HR being a HR just at Wrigley.

Edit: also not a HR at Fenway and Coors.

Is that with same weather conditions as WF today or as if the earth stood still at those parks

Good AB's by Shaw today

xBA of .520, .520 and .310 with two swings over 97mph.

New mechanics. Changed his front foot placement.

Regardless of ballpark.  The wind is blowing E to W right now so directly in at RF.  Probably a HR on a neutral day.

That also makes it more of a cross wind going to LF I think, but maybe in just enough to affect some of the other batted balls

Thielbar was a really good pickup.

He looked dominant that inning, right?
