Busch again!

He's white hot...sure woulda liked to see him hit higher in the order today. CC is stubborn and conservative regarding his lineups

Shaw with another rocket....SMDH. As for Ian, he's all the way down to .233. Give the guy a day off Craig. He looks fatigued. Just caught a break on 3-2..ump squeezing him.

At least they're making Liberatore work today. It's hot and he's at 40+ pitches already.

That HR is how you demand more starts against lefties.

Busch had the 2nd higest bWAR going into this game behind Matt Olson.  Neither of them were in the conversation for starting 1B in the ASG.  So many Mets mouthpieces on social media arguing about Freddie Freeman getting the votes over Alonso, and neither of them deserved it.

Busch is a star who doesn't get recognized as a star. I still think people outside of Chicago don't realize just how good he's been.

Factoring in defense, Busch is a better player than Alonso right now.  That's wild.  Amazing trade

I’m not exactly sure how the roster is constructed post voting, but I sure hope Seiya and Busch find their way to Atlanta.

I bet Justin Turner is very nervous right now

Yep, one of two things happens with Turner after the break depending on what he wants to do.

1. He gets released if he wants to try and hook up with another contending team that will play him.

2. He comes up with an injury that will put him on IL for a month but hes able to stay in clubhouse/dugout with team.

I think he'll choose number 2, cause theres no guarentee a contending team will want him or even keep him the rest of year.

He can have a chance at being activated September when rosters expand .

Who knows maybe CC and Hoyer decides in the playoffs that having Turner on the bench for a possibility of pinch hitting could benefit.

I’m assuming you meant Turner, because if Tucker is on the bench…

I hope we don't have to see Wicks for more than 2 innings because this game looks very winnable..

I mean if he gets them 3 or 4, depending on pitches theyre allowing him, it could be a good thing because hes pitching well. 🤷‍♂️
