I mean if he gets them 3 or 4, depending on pitches theyre allowing him, it could be a good thing because hes pitching well. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah definitely. I hope he pitches well.  But I hope they have a short leash with him in case it goes off the rails.

I know Shaw has been a stinker at the plate but man does he play a really nice 3B!

Yea, with the way the overall hitting has been for them, I can see CC and Hoyer sticking with Shaw mainly because of his glove and hoping at some point in season his bat comes around.

If this club has a sports psychologist on the payroll and I am sure that they do, Dansby Swanson needs to be locked inside a room with that person.

He’d probably strike out at the meeting.

Yep, one of two things happens with Turner after the break depending on what he wants to do.

1. He gets released if he wants to try and hook up with another contending team that will play him.

2. He comes up with an injury that will put him on IL for a month but hes able to stay in clubhouse/dugout with team.

I think he'll choose number 2, cause theres no guarentee a contending team will want him or even keep him the rest of year.

He can have a chance at being activated September when rosters expand .

Who knows maybe CC and Hoyer decides in the playoffs that having Turner on the bench for a possibility of pinch hitting could benefit.

But if he picks option 2 and stays, will he keep his fake balls? Asking for a friend.

Gorman is NOT a good hitter (.213 avg.) but when you throw a meat ball like that, he can time it up and lay waste to it. He needs to shelve that lazy curve for a while.

Liberatore is okay, certainly no Skubal or Gore, and they've seen him twice now within a few weeks.  Yet here we go again.  He's not even pitching great, a lot of 3-0 and 3-1 counts and balls left in the middle of the plate.  Yet, not getting it done vs a lefty (so far)

Swanson lol...

I kinda would like to see what he could do as a leadoff hitter, Happ hasn't really done much in his last 10-12 games, why not change it up for a series or two and see what happens.

Swanson

Tucker

Suzuki

PCA

Happ

Busch

Hoerner

Catcher

Shaw

Busch is a star who doesn't get recognized as a star. I still think people outside of Chicago don't realize just how good he's been.

Just looking at offense, which all these dillweeds on socials look at when they compare, here's OPS by month (thanks for doing my legwork, ChatGPT).  Apparently Busch doesn't count because he only hits righties.

Only when the psychologist tells him that there will be multiple people (baserunners) in the room with them.
