horsefeathers hell, I’ll never not get pissed when a runner from 3rd with 0 outs doesn’t get home

This is so stupid. Score the tying run ffs.

Offense is pretty meek tonight with runners on. Lucky to have 2

Swanson is an embarrassment with RISP.

I can’t wait until Amaya is back, the Cubs get Suarez and Nico/Dansby become our 8/9 hitters /dream

That was big . Pretty sure Vogt will go to Smith very early in this one . Don’t want to be behind when that happens . He is disgusting

I don’t understand why PCA didn’t try to steal much earlier. Maybe they got de ja vu from all the pickoffs yesterday lol

I thought that was weird too, especially with Dansby’s ability to hit into double plays. But hey, the analytics must’ve said something else 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I haven't looked up the stats but I'm guessing the Guardians are good at controlling the running game.  They got him last night, they looked like they caught him leaning 1-2 times, they threw at the right times (like before the 2-2 to Dansby).  He still probably should have went earlier but I understand why it might have been tougher than it looks.

Most likely to keep the hole open for Busch

Dansby is so bad with RISP, the Cubs were actually hoping he would GIDP and at least ge the run home.  If it was 2nd and 3rd they could have gone home with the eventual grounder.  Or he wouldn't have put the ball in play because that would have been a productive out with RISP.

No analytic will ever convince me that laying down a bunt isn't a smart baseball move in some situations.  I hope they don't horsefeathers around in October when it matters
