Brown should be the one who goes to the pen if both stays up.

Either one really. They will have to limit innings for each of them.

Although the Reds lineup is far from impressive can't afford to get to far behind.  64 EV doubles, dribbler GB's they're really crushing the ball.

I know it to early to make significant trades for pitching, but damn it gonna be tough winning games unless the bats are scoring 5+ more often then not with the starters and shaky bullpen.

2 rookies and 3 mid starters and a bullpen without a reliable closer and a few questionable relievers.

Really interested to see how Boyd rebounds after this. Was quite bold to hand out the contract they did on a minuscule 40 IP sample size.

Regardless he hasnt pitched 80 innings or more in half a decade

And here we go. 30-20 with basically good pitching from the rotation and now a bad one and we have to make a trade. Hasn’t been tough winning 60% of their games up until now.

Well that was fortunate. No more damage, and Boyd only got to 34 pitches meaning if he can get it together he can still give 5 innings. 3 runs sucks but not impossible to overcome

As sucky as that was, 3-0 feels like a W.

Absolutely. Still bad with Greene pitching. But not ready to turn the game off. Could have been a lot worse.

Cubs will get back in this game, not every soft fly and dribbler the Reds hit is going to fall.

You know damn well this group of starters not gonna hold up, they barely get to 6 ip and they have benefited alot by the offense.

It was already going to be tough without Steele, now they need to hold up until mid- late June without Imanaga.

The bullpen isn't exactly reliable

No it not,  I dont get fidgety til the opponents get 4, that been my max with the way the offense has been so far.
