Ok, I was wrong about Suzuki 😅😅😅😅😅

Love how the bottom of order has been producing and turning the lineup over for the guys at the top can drive in runs,  the bats are looking good so far.

Will defer to you guys about how bad PCA looked in his PA, but Springs by all accounts seems like a very tough LHP. Might have been a good day to give try out the Happ/Tucker/Suzuki outfield and give Workman some PAs, but think the right decision was made to keep the offense humming as it has been.

IIRC Springs fb plays up major because of IVB. Perfect type to befuddle PCA with where his swing is right now.

A's broadcast said 401 ft on Seiya's homer seems like he got short changed that thing was crushed like last night's

113 on a 24 LA feels to me like it would go a little further as well.

Man, it's easy to say when everything is going well, but being able to roll out (by last year's wRC, minimum 300 PAs) the:

  1. 50th best hitter in baseball
  2. 22nd best hitter in baseball
  3. 3rd best hitter in baseball
  4. 63rd best hitter in baseball

at the top of your lineup is a luxury very, very few teams can match.

Really interested to see what the park effects look like when there's more data.  Seems like the ball flies out of here like old school Coors Field, though maybe both teams are just swinging the bat well.

Taillon’s changeup looks kind of incredible today.  Not sure what's happening there?  Also sitting 93-94, so velo not all the way back to pre-2024 from but a big chunk of the way back.

Apparently it's brand new!

I like having Brown in LF. That's 2 singles this inning he should've caught. He looks like a little leaguer just waiting for it to drop before picking it up

Presumably Springs is done?  82 pitches through 3 innings for a guy with his injury history feels like a point you don't want to push past.

Brent Rooker signing a 5 year, $60 million contract seems outrageously underpaid.
