It’s supremely annoying that the offense sucks but not because of the run game or the offensive line

It's not zero on the offensive line.

But the biggest share of blame is always QB.  Caleb Williams just hasn't been elevating anyone.   He needs to be more decisive and more dynamic.

Even his completions have been one-read training wheels plays.

I'm less worried about the throws than the reads.   One or two bad throws that half wouldn't seem so crushing if the rest of the offense wasn't so dysfunctional.

But the reads are killing me. The second down play on the opening drive where he had two checkdown options and he just stared at the deep developing route that never came was the most Fieldsian he's ever looked.

At this point the lack of interceptions are a concern. He's crossed the line from good throwaways in tough situations to being completely unwilling to give his receivers a chance.

Why is it every team besides the Bears, with a patch work OL are able to hold up, take away the Bears' best pass rushers?    Yet, Bears patch work OL couldn't stop a HS team?

I was assured all we needed was Williams last offseason
