I haven't watched enough football outside of Bears games, but has there been a single exciting play that has come out of the new kickoff rule?

I don’t think it will matter to the players as long as there are fewer injuries

Wasn't that already the case though with the previous kickoff system?  It's just that kicks were rarely being returned anymore.  But I'm not sure that this new system has actually improved anything.

Ugh I thought Caleb would get the first for sure

offense still looking very herky jerky and Caleb is not delivering the ball on time (though on that play Moore and Kmet ran into each other)

Oh, idk. I just assumed they do this new style to further prevent injuries

Come on Caleb, what was that? You have to fight for that yard.

Obsessed with that stupid baseball slide from Hard Knocks, he goes down way too easily. Generally I’m fine with not taking hits but that was simply not a good play and needed to take a hit there.

My understanding was they were trying to bridge the gap to where there are meaningful kickoff returns AND few injuries.  The good news is I think the are doing ok on the injury part.  But as for the kickoff being a relevant or exciting play again, I haven't seen it.

I’m fine with sliding too early. An injured QB loses more than 1 game

Oh, maybe. I’d agree, kOs are pretty boring now
