He's a former Cubs minor leaguer who got picked up by Kansas City in the Rule 5 draft (I believe thats what its called) and he has to stick on there 25 man roster for the entire year, or he comes back to the cubs. So if he tanks, they'll be more inclined to let him come back to the Cubs. (someone correct me if I'm wrong, I think thats what i've learned reading this board :-D)

I'm not really too concerned with the possibility he could be returned to the Cubs. If they wouldn't protect him in the Rule 5 draft, I really don't think he would have much of a future with us even if was returned after a lashing in the major leagues. I've accepted the fact that he's gone. It's the Royals, and I actually think Sisco will pitch pretty decent this year. He's gone.
