They don't have to be designated that way, but in this case he was and so yup needed to be dressed in case that happened.

Cowboys/Browns game, Parsons is getting to Watson. The RT goes out for injury and the announcer says "Germain Ifedi in at RT." I thought, look out, and sure enough parsons drills Watson running past Ifedi. I had to laugh, but also surprised he is still in the league

I don't think Bo Nix is terrible because of one game, but this game highlighted all the reasons i think Bo Nix is terrible.

I wont say terrible, but I think his ultimate upside is game manager. He has a very accurate arm, but he has very little arm strength and he's going to have to march down the field 5 to 10 yards at a time via check downs and quick outs. 

edit: He's the rich man version of Tyson Bagent even though the likely outcome is they're the same guy.
