If Caleb Williams doesn't brutally miss two open deep throws, and Allen doesn't drop a perfectly placed touchdown pass, then the offensive line wouldn't seem so pressing.

Stroud wasn't particularly good in his debut and had a fantastic season

It's not the playcalling. Williams is throwing medium and deep passes, it just hasn't worked out yet.

I might change my mind when I see tape breakdowns, but my working theory is that Williams is struggling with his footwork due to nerves/defensive line pressure and that's causing the missed throws.

This is eerily reminiscent of the Packers game last year just in terms of the team not looking well prepared for the game. Just tons of little things not working well. 

Part of that is understandable with a new coach and a new QB but lordy. Its a mess out there.

I'm pretty scared. This is abysmal. Actually it's the same horsefeathers we are used to. And Levis is handily playing better. Everything horsefeathers sucks.
